Donnette has extensive clinical experience working within the NHS, child, adolescent and family mental health service in addition to her work at the child and family practice.
Donnette is a specialist psychotherapist who works with young children adolescent’s family’s individuals and couples. She covers a range of emotional, psychological difficulties. Donnette conducts short term and long-term psychotherapy, parent guidance, communication work and assessments.
Donette also consults to schools colleagues from various professional disciplines professional organisations such as education, social services and GP’s. Donette has special interests in the following areas, parent/ infant relationships, attachment difficulties and the emotional life of the child, eating disorders, addiction and substance misuse.
She also has a keen interest in understanding cross-cultura/ethnic belief and their influence on the emotional life of the individual and family.
