Naomi is a Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Naomi enjoys working with people who have ADHD. She welcomes referrals from parents or professionals where there are concerns that a child or young person might have ADHD. Referrals can be made to Naomi directly through her website

Naomi qualified as a doctor in 1986. She trained in psychiatry at The Maudsley Hospital, then in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street. Naomi has never really stopped training! She has a systemic family therapy qualification and more recently attained a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology and accreditation as a civil and commercial mediator.

Naomi worked for 30 years in the NHS, initially in Essex, then in Cambridge, Huntingdon and Peterborough. Naomi worked as a medical manager between 2012 and 2016, helping to bring about many improvements in her NHS children’s services.

Naomi is skilled in working with patients who have many different types of difficulty – behavioural problems, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD (and the conditions sometimes associated with it – tics/Tourette’s Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorders). Naomi takes care to engage with the family as well as thinking of each child as an individual. She focusses on a child’s strengths, friendships, home and school life. Naomi will always advise you if she thinks you might need the skills of other members of the multi-disciplinary team – for example, for a different kind of assessment or therapeutic intervention.

As well as being a doctor, Naomi is accredited and registered as a Civil and Commercial Mediator and coaches professionals. Please see for further information.
