The Child and Family Practice’s Dr Georgia Pavlopoulou was invited on to BBC Radio Five Live’s Drivetime programme on 29th July.

Dr Pavlopoulou explains that we need to make sure that we listen to the voices of autistic people and their families, so that in a post-Covid-19 world, we are doing much more to protect families from the preventable anxieties, social pressures and discrimination they have endured for too long. Also important to learn about what worked well during that period in order to imagine a better future.
Dr Georgia Pavlopoulou touches upon considerations concerning autistic children during the pandemic, such as retaining positive learning and psychological benefits when lockdown is lifted.
